BIOGRAPHY: Vellocetta offer up everything from blistering guitars to soaring vocals. Initially the group was born as an outlet for their stories of lost souls and vacancy signs. The Colchester based dark indie four piece possess a fast and aggressive live set, with catchy melodies that leave you awaiting the next gig.
With comparisons drawn between the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Foals the interchange and mix of sleazy vocals between Amy and Aaron complete a very tight 90’s Seattle sound. Following their sold out live debut they are now firm favourites at the Colchester Art Centre and Essex Rocks after a string of successful gigs including main support for Casiokids and Ungdomskulen.
The band have gone from strength to strength this year with the release of their self-titled second EP featuring their single C.T.T. They have recently played massive crowds at South-End prestigious Chinnerys, where they made their first video for their single C.T.T. – catch it now on youtube!
